Tim Berg - Seek Bromance ( Pop/Progressive house analysis)

These are a few notes I took in class.

The video and music combine because the song is feel good and the video reflects that, the shots change with the changes in the tempo of the song. When the guy is kick out the house the song goes on about relating to each other and the three of them all to in similar places and can relate to each other, then when they start to hang out together she says ‘you’ll never be alone’ showing a strong bond with the trio “I will give you the love you seek". Also the speed change after they take drugs relates with the music. There is a drop in the music and video changes to their car breaking down this is a low point but its later resolved. When they go to Vegas it symbolises the big world that they want to experience together.

The music video reflects the genre well, club/electronic music usually always has a positive narrative or is to make people feel good, this is reflected in the video, the video starts with a road trip further on in the video sex, drugs, partying and alcohol are introduced, this links directly with the audience and what they want to experience.
